Of couse I'm hoping wear will be fairly even all around. We'll see. I mainly changed my camber to free up the car a little.

I would suggest you keep the R1's both days. You will be learning and getting familiar with the track the first day, and if you change to those tires, you'll be relearning everything again on day2. I'm going to use the R compounds both days. They are VERY different. They handle and respond differently and the braking is more abrupt. You'll have more fun if you keep them for both days. Trust me. What size are they?

What group is everyone running? 1,2,3, or 4? Obviously I'm in 1.
Just curious.

I have seen an R32 pick up it's inside rear wheel in turn 3 at 100mph, before blowing off into a slide. The amount of grip of those tires is just insane. If the temps hover in the high 70's low 80's, they should hold up pretty well. On hot days, I have found the R1's to wear excessively. I had a buddy go through the front left in one day at Roebling, granted, braking between the 2 and 1 marker, and carrying over 80mph in turn one will do that. .

Hey Nabil,
I sent a pm but just in case you didnt get it I will be at Grand Turismo on Thursday at approx 1030-1100. I knew Thursday would be good for you because I AM THE MAN!
lol
I will have the rims with me.
Val and all, I dont know what settings I will end up with. I have aftermarket wheels (enkeis rfp-1's 17.5 lbs apeice!) with a 35 offset. They told me that would change things. Guess we will figue it out that day.
15 days to go. 2 wks from now we will be gathering at the motel!

Request.......If ya'll run across one wheel, scratches okay but no bent/warped please for a deal, please let me know. I have one on my extra set that won't balance (shaped like an egg) so I have one wheel I have to keep exchanging out when I swap tire. It'd be okay for an auto x tire, but not for taking a 700 mile trip on like I plan on doing for this trip. The tire mounted on it okay, but the thump, thump, thump, over the long haul would have been un-nerving.

I put the MX's back on this week.........SWEET!!!!

so, what your saying is: if I take the cosign of the multiplier, then add in my speed minus the yaw, I'll find my apex each time?? Sweet!!

it is all about who you can convince that you are right.

I still wish I could make it to this event. I expect to see good in-car footage of this one, since it is the first time any of us has driven the track.
