Non-Owner saying Hey!
Hey Guys and Gals,
I was just checking out your forum and your cars. Very nice! Other than some little stuff (we all have them) you seem to like your cars as much as us 350Z owners do. Congrats to the new owners out their. You all should get used to the constant barrage of questions and stares! It still has not subsided for me. On that note . . .
Anyone live in or abouts the Nashville, TN area. I have not seen an RX-8 up close yet and would like to take a closer look. I am not looking to buy, just curious! So if any one wants to meet up somewhere and shoot the breeze and maybe take some pictures let me know.

Thanks guys, Yeah its a shame that people cant appreciate differences and then feel threatened by those differences.
I really like the way the RX-8 looks and performs. In a perfect world I would have one with my Z (and a fleet of other desired cars)!
Its exciting to see import performance cars making a comeback. Much the same as all of you with the RX, I was crushed when Z production stopped after 96, as that was my dream car. Come to find out they were not that great a car (comparatively), but the new ones are one of the best Z's ever made.
I look forward to seeing some RX-8's at the track and on the roads.
Again, if anyone in the area want to meet and chill, let me know.

It's kind of ironic because my coworker just bought a new 350Z and shortly afterwards I just purchased by RX8. Talk about two nice looking cars parked side-by-side in the parking garage....
We both are constantly talking about our cars, seeing how each of them compare up to one another ... But we both appreciate the other car brand which is nice to say...
Both cars rock, but of course I am somewhat biased to mine :D !!!!!

I work in Huntsville AL, which is 1-1/2 hours from downtown Nashville, unless someone is closer.

Of course, I have noticed that he's been driving the 8 quite a bit lately....

It's a great time to be driving, shopping for, or just looking at sports/sports-like cars with the 8, the Miata, the Z, the G35s, S2K, STi, WRX, the american behemoths, & the usual european suspects. There something for everyone out there that'll make driving fun.
