Photoshoot/Meet 8/6

sorry, in no way was i being pessimistic or argumentative.
just things to keep in mind.
working with a model that know what works is the best but also i've seen amateurs doing great things.
it all depends on the model and what works for her or doesn't.
we can push them far but not to the point where they will be uncomfortable.
i'm really looking forward to this event because i see alot of potential for great shots.
but like you said, photographers need to do a quick meeting before the event, get to know each other and work with each other.
this probably would've gone without saying, but it is better said than assumed.

As far as a meeting, I think it'd be a great idea. I will try to round up all the photogs and we'll go out for lunch or something the week of so we can get acquainted. We were gonna do that with the car owners too but a lot of them arent returning PMs to l337fpc. If you could help with that, that'd be great too.

^ w0rd ^ To all above posts, I have/had the same concerns and Stephanie and I talked about them. Now don't get me wrong if you are on the list as a photo/video that's one thing. However, if you are someone who has a car there, and are not on the list of presence shooting then I agree you need to understand that the people shooting aren't going to want you in the way. Stand back let them shoot and don't distract. It's one of the number one reasons I despise shooting at car meets cause people are rude and walk wherever they feel like walking. Unfortunately its not a controllable environment.
As far as models go, the easiest way to do that is have them split off per photographer you don't want a model looking every which direction cause that will be a mess and sloppy. Also having the cars right on top of each other isn't gonna be very good either, You'll have girls and photographers in the background so it needs to be split up a little bit but not too much as it looks stupid.
Luckily, It's in a few weeks so there's still plenty of time to get everything ironed out and situated. It's a patience game, due to the number of things to be settled and organized.
Now as for you Francesco get your sh*t fixed already If Stephanie needs more help she knows how to reach me, if you need anything same applies to you.

Alright, everyone who said they are coming will be getting a PM from me. If i don't hear back from everyone in a timely fashion...then their car WILL NOT BE IN THE MAIN PHOTOSHOOT.
This needs to be organized because as of right now there are ~10 ladies and ~5 photographers. Once the list of cars that are going to be in the shoot is solidified, then the models and photographers can be addressed.
The meet is open to all, the photoshoot with the models is restricted.

The cost to get in is 4 bucks if your in a car by yourself or 8 bucks for a car load. And that includes admission and parking. Just went there couple weeks ago. Not a bad place. It's a pretty nice beach area.
