Here are the directions to the Char Grill on Strickland I posted back on 4/30. They should be good for any location since you'll be getting on 540 or 440 to get around Raleigh with the least hassle and traffic:
DIRECTIONS If you are coming from Durham/Chapel Hill and other locations to the west of Raleigh or 540:
-Exit I-40 at the 540 exit and go to the Six Forks exit.
-Go south, to the right, on Six Forks Rd to the Strickland Rd intersection, about a quarter mile, and turn right.
-Char Grill will be on your left a couple hundred yards west of intersection.
DIRECTIONS: if you are coming from eastern NC you can hit the 440 beltline around south Raleigh.
-Go North toward Wake Forest and exit 440 on the Six Forks exit.
-Go north on Six Forks several miles until you pass a Kmart on the left
-Turn left on Strickland Rd at the next traffic light.
-You'll find the Char Grill on the left a hundred yds or so on the left.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meeting times are 6:30 pm (1830) on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. The FC guys usually are on time and the FD guys arrive between 7:00 & 7:30, you inow they have to make an entrance an attract all the attention. Hope to see you in Raleigh on Saturday!

Hey DQ, glad you're close to our Drive-in site. We have about 15-20 cars altogether and 11 showed up at last Saturday's drive-in. Its a good cross section of owners, mostly under 30 guys but some definitely over 30 as well. Most have had their cars a year or more, some much longer and some just a few months. We have some people that come who are looking for their first rotary car.
The concept of the Rotary Drive-In is an informal get together of guys (so far we've had no female owners show up, although there are legends you hear occassionally that the women that drive rotaries are the hotest women around) that love their cars, enjoy working on them, talking about them, and want to learn more about the care and feeding of their 7 wonders. We meet the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month and if this sound like something you'd want to check out, Drive-in one Saturday.
Oh yeah, don't get there after 7:00 'cause the FD owners wait until then to show up so that they can make an entrance and have everyone stare at their cars. They might get jealous if you show up later and make your own grand entrance.
