Raleigh Rotary Drive IN (Summer 2006)
We have the Drive-Ins scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, same time and same location. Location is the Char-Grill on Strickland Road. Time = 6:30PM.....I suggest start showing up around 6:pm. WWW.RRDI.ORG
Feel free to bring your friends even if they do not have a Mazda...we normally have some 3000GTs, some Firebirds and other sports car showing up.
Mr Thundercleese has said he will be attending.

At least you didn't bring the pouring rain with you like I did hahaha. First time I show up in months and what does it do, rain. boooo. Still got to check out jag's setup though after the rain ended. Hot. Pictures will be up soon I think. The next one's on July 8th. There is a cookout in the works for that day as well.

Remember all, next Drive-In will be a Beaver Dam Recreation area for a cookout and to welcome David back to civilian life and job hunting. Bring a door prize and some food, see perkystina's post for more details.

We are going to Nopi in Rockingham, NC, INSTEAD of the picnic at the lake.
This year, the website says there is supposed to be a drift show. :D
Saturday, July 8th is the day we are going.
I'm not sure what time the gates open, so if we want to leave Raleigh around 8:30 or 9, that will give us plenty of time to get down there and get parked, etc.
It will take us a little less than an hour and a half to get there. Last year, we had a caravan, and we had a blast.
If you can find somewhere in your quest online for a specific time that the festivities begin, then we can base our depature time around that.
We will leave from Char-Grill, since that is a familiar place for everyone.
We will be cooking out there. Please volunteer for what you intend to bring. Food and concessions was expensive last year... plan on bringing a water bottle!!
Continue the items list for the cookout as started in the previous posts.
Call my cell or PM me if you need more info, or if you have any suggestions.
See you there!

NOPI: the aftermath
Lots of fun at NOPI this year. Cookout, drag racing, drifting, bling bling cars, good company, and hot chicks makes for a great day .
Pictures are here: Thanks to Neil (3kgt owner) for taking great photos in the absence of my camera (left it at home )
How was the drive in? That should have been everyone except for me, Stina, and Gary hahahaha.
