You kidding me right? I don't think you could say anything to me that I would misinterpret as negative.

OK, just wanted to make shure, my drugs, feaver and crap are not being kind to me and I keep making stupid mistakes like deleting my documents folder last night... I freaking dumped amungst other things my Quicken and TurboTax documents accidentally while trying to make space on my computer. I've been trying to recover that today as well.

Robert said I was hitting 1:29s on Sunday with 1:30s - 1:31s in traffic. I'm sure TA, OD and Phlash were closer to 1:26s - 1:28s. Dang that was fun! I'm ready to go back.

hey OMS, OD, any issues with melting of the rear fascia or exhaust shrouds as a result of running catless and shooting flames and what not? OMS's exhaust tips look pretty black, any discoloration in the rear bumper from all the heat and flames?

L8, a recap of my mid-pipe:
- It sounds louder inside the car than it actually is outside. Some couldn't even tell the difference! Go figure!
- It takes about 1-1.5 hours to change out every time too and from.
- It was throwing serious flames! I was riding behind OD one time and the car (I believe a Porsche) was throwing huge long billowing flames and I was only hoping mine was half of that. When we came in, OD told me mine were longer. Now that's freaking awesome!
- As the day went on, the flames subsided to a smaller report. Maybe the computer was adjusting or something.
- The exhaust tip was black as ****. The *** end of the car had an oil film covering and discoloring the bumper and a little up on the trunk.
- No damage to the black base of the bumper.
- All cleans up well.
- Phlash took a pic of the exhaust tip. Maybe we can get him to post it.
- There is no real gain of speed as we tested it down the front straight. I could not gain on Phlash, OD or TA. So that was a great experiment.
- Since there is no gain in speed I have decided to not run it again because of the time installing and de-installing and my lack of a proper place to do the work. Guess I will be putting it up for sell. OD will continue to run his at track events.

I was just curious. It looked like the tips and a bit of the bumper were kinda black. I have no plans to buy such a midpipe, my neighbors think my car is plenty loud already. I know someone over on the GA Forum that would probably buy it from you though.

i will run mine---for some reason my did not make a film on the back of my car as silvers did. I liked the sound for the track--i could rev match much better and I think there is a little power gain now that I have my cat back on.
Once the car is up i can swap them out in about 30-40 mins. I will not take my o2 sensor out of my cat and put in the midpipe anymore-==dont need it. It's only 5 bolts and the rubber hanger. I dont count those little cross brace thingy's--they are too easy. Gotta jack the car anyway to swap out the pads---so on the track I will be running mine.
Make some noise
Great pics!

yep, I think he posted that too. Looks like there was a good bit of traffic in DE3.
One question that I have failed to ask, how was the track surface, for those that had been there when it was brand new? Is it any faster, grippier?

... and that says a lot, that guy is hauling ***. Wish my video had been working. I'm still kicking my *** for not having something to show. Guys, we passed a LOT of cars. The 8 rocks! Asside from the dumb *** red miata that didn't know anyone was behind him. There was a blue audi that just seemed to be pissid that we were on his *** and refused to give it up. But in the end... you know what happened. And once around, he was gone.

I purposely lined up behind that s4.....got around him each session. Each session he waited a little more and a little more before he pointed me by. I know he must have been frustrated when he'd finally point me by. It was fast as hell in the straights, but he tended to brake about 200-300 ft before me at 1, (he got much better and later as the weekend went on) and he's heavy.....the back side of the track with him was mine.......................................I tried making conversation with the guy when I'd see him, but he didn't seem very interested.
