3 in dhe 3 ---WONDERFUL!!!!! Come on TA drop back if you can--I know your schedule may not allow that. But hope so. dbright--hold on dude--you a going to be a talking non stop and have a great time. Really glad you can make it. If we can be of help let the questions fly.
I would recommend changing your coolant to a 65%water and 35% coolant. course good brake fluid etc. What tires are ya running?
looks like it is going to be hot--prepare!
i want a t shirt that says OTHC---may get a hat with just that on it for this event.
Silver --dont forget to save that pump for me ok
Serious about seat time--i will go if you will/can
front discs to be turned this w/e, viking horn midpipe on the next w/e and will go ahead an put my brake pads on then also. Just changed oil/filter---so all i have to do then is the checklist.
yall need to see my front end----- removing the rotor symbol really changed it .
rotor on
olddragger
I will have for sale one voodoo **** and one front rotor symbol.

OD, I brought the fuel pump home from Charlie's today. made my car smell like gas but I figured I'd take one for the team.

I'm serious too about Seat-Time. If you don't mind driving late into the evening then maybe we could work something out. My bill at Mazcare was not extreme so I may can pull it off. If I leave around 6:00 Thursday then I can get to Macon sometime around 9:00 PM. Then however long it takes to get there. I really hate to pay for another night at a hotel. What do you think? How long does it take from your house to get to Savannah. Wonder if it might make more sence to get a few hours of sleep at your house then take off at 4:00 AM for RR. What do you think?

Charlie suggested I install a new set of Hawk Plus's so I will order them tonight. The only thing I have to do to get ready is install the mid-pipe. I'll do that weekend after next and drive it to work all week. I think I'll order a set of gaskets for the mid-pipe/cat. If we drive up for Seat-Time, I will probably have my track tires already on the car. If not then I will take them in the back and install on Friday PM. I will install the new brake pads this weekend hopefully. I don't have much else to do.

Well now, I must say I have been so out of touch, it's embarrasing. Roebling sounds very intriguing. I'm in the middle of SC, a stones' throw from CMP and did not even know that you track ho's have been going there. Road Atlanta is sugar sweet too - I love that place. This is great, you guys keep me informed. In the meantime, lemme think about Roebling. I see the CMP event in July. I'm gonna go to Hilton Head for a week, only a week after the Roebling event, hate to drive the same 2.5 hour trip so back-to-back time-wise, & the last weekend at home before a week-long vacation usually means preparatory time, mow the grass 'n' stuff, but lemme see who wants to go with me...

Racer, we have a great group of track ho's and I think one event with us and you will be adding your name to our calendar of events. CMP is a great course and if you like it then you will love Roebling. Hope to see you sometime soon.

Silver --the latest we have to be there is 0830---right? Therefore if we leave (from my house) at 0530---even 6am--- we will be there in plenty of time. It would be a long day--are we too old for that ? HELL NO!
3 straight days of roebling/driving---last time one of our group did 3 days--i seem to remember him saying it was a little much.

2 rotory's with viking horn midpipes on an empty interstate in the early a,m,---now thats a memory!

OK, then I'll make my way down Thursday night then. Lets sign up for Seat-Time! Don't forget that we have to go through tech! I'm signing up for "Solo" not "Solo Advanced".

Thanks for the kind welcome to the OTHC everyone. I have met most of you so at least I won't be messing up names. Looking forward to meeting some more people and finding out about this track addiction thing.
OTHC - I think we need to spell it out on T-shirts. I am too close to the "over the hill club" to want people to think I am advertising.

OD, questions will come. OMS and TA have received a few PM's, and have been very kind in giving me a head start - lots of stuff answered. More will come. Need to track down Charlie to check my pads and stuff. You asked about tires - 245/40/18 Toyo T1R - 2k miles on them. (Well question arose- do you change pressures and push them up a bit?)

Phlash - post if caravaning is in order - will see if I can make the leave time. I live right on the top end perimeter at 75/285.

OD and OMS - I am up in the air about Seat Time. Right now I have a hotel room for Thurs nite just in case. I will do Seat Time if i get the call to instruct. At this time he doesn't have many DE students signed up. I am not going to sign up as a solo student though as I am likely to go to Barber with the BMW club the following week. I will get plenty of track either way.

I have a set of RA1s on the way. I still can't decide whether to squeeze one more event out of my Azenis before getting rid of them. They look like shaved and worn R Compounds and I am not sure of how much rubber there is between the bottom of the tread groove and the belts. I would hate to get half wayt thru a weekend and run out of tire. I am contemplating my options. A big part of me wants the stickier R compounds under my *** and to strap on a transponder to run in TTD to see how I fare.

Ta you know how roebling can be on tires and it probably will be a little warm---so no chances on the track---shoe your stud man. Or just bring them with you and the tire man at the track will swap them out for ya. JB tires? you know its more fun when its sticky.
Silver---I ain't no Ho--I am just your neighborhood ****--trying to work my way up.
Told the wife --we have a place for you and anyone else who would like to stop over. We do have to promise to sleep. oh well at least she didnt say we couldnt lie! It takes about 2 hrs at the most to get there--then we have to tank up at the station and I will have to swap tires around etc.
To the track virgin--bet ya you ain't any older than I am! Dont worry man --we talk some stuff but you are going to have a GREAT time. We can talk alignments, brake fluids, pads, tires, tire pressures, engine oil, coolants, suspenions and a bunch of other stuff all day. Just bring what ya have---(Charlie will make sure you have the must haves), alignment would be good--sure TA and them have spoke to ya about that--tires pressures will go need to go up a little but that will be no problem. If you still have a lot of thread on your tires then they are going to leave there with a little showing of wear? Depending --you may want to rotate them on Sunday--we will help you keep an eye out. Our oem o40's back in the day held up very well. So you wont have any problems for sure. It is not a bad track on brakes. Dont know about an automatic out there---dont know about the auto's transmissions temps etc. Charlie will guide you there.
Come on Phlash --come to Macon thursday night---come on TA, come on P, come on T--lets raise a little hell before it gets too hot!

Don't chance it, go get your R's mounted. You have squeezed enough.

My car has been squeaking REAL bad and I've been thinking it was my coilovers but Chas greased my front sway and she's purring now like new. I had no clue the sways could cause such a fuss. Now, if I can just find a fluid filled 2 1/16" oil pressure gauge, my car will be good as new with no more evil noises.

EDIT:
OD, you need to clean out your PM's! I can't send you a Private Message. So, here it is!

Any clue where I can get a fluid filled 2 1/16" Oil Pressure gauge to replace the Auto Meter that came with my RB kit. It fluttering is really anoying me to the point I'm ready to unhook it if I can't find a replacement.
