SE Mazda Meet in Birmingham
Yet another event found on the rx7club.com
What: South Eastern Mazda Meet (ALL Mazdas Welcome)
Sponsored by BHamRacing.com (More sponsors to come)
When:First weekend in February (Fri-Sun)
Where:Oak Mountain State Park Pelham, AL
This is gonna be huge! All Mazda owners and enthusiast from the SE are invited.
We are going to have a HUGE turnout. Its going to be at the Beautiful Oak Mountain State Park, which is about 20 Miles south of Birmingham.
This is going to be a Weekend event. Bring a tent! Or there are several hotels within 5 miles. Im going to speak to Ramada tomorrow about getting group rates.
This is going to be a great event...bring your rotary! I hope we have alot of representation from the RX8 world.
I will have more details soon...this is still in the planning stages. I am hoping to get MedCenter Mazda on as a sponsor, so we can have a few cars on display. Im also talking to several vendors in the area to see if we can get some more support.
We have not had a big mazda meet like this in a LONG time, so I figure it will be a great oppurtunity to meet everyone...talk about our passion...and put a few faces with board names

No one seems to know who's organizing this and I've sent a pm to the starter of the thread a couple of weeks ago and have not gotten a response. Is this just wishful thinking on someone's part. Has anyone heard from the guy/group? I hope there's some substance to this, but at this point I'm not hopeful.
