Service locations in Orlando?
Hi all,
I am new here, and in the market for a used RX-8.
After spending quite some time reading up on the quirks of the car, and the suggested list of things to inspect when looking at a used RX-8, I have 2 questions:
1. I know you are supposed to take the car for a compression test. But since the rotary is unique, not all service locations can do this? I also read some threads where even some Mazda dealerships were not interpreting the results correctly. Where/how would you find a mechanic for that knows what he is doing?
2. I guess this is related, but any suggestions as for good, reputable mechanics in the Orlando region, that have experience with RX-8s? (Actually not sure if I can solicit/discuss this here?)

I would just take it to a Mazda dealer to get a compression test and a usual inspection done. In another topic I thought I saw someone say that if a mechanic's compression test showed low compression that Mazda would need to perform their own.
