Ok, I stopped by MJ Barleyhoppers while I was at the grocery store and changed the reservation to 8pm. Please plan on meeting in the parking lot around 7 (like last time) to meet anyone new.

Yeah, everyone will be showing up in the parking lot of Barley Hoppers around 7ish, maybe a bit earlier and then we'll all proceed to stand around and talk for a while before going inside. Epitrochoid and I will be arriving in Orlando a bit after 5 at the Omni, if you'd like, we can meet up and all head out from there. Aye, yeah - I think a lot of people in this crowd won't really know him. Guy does for sure, but I think he's the only person besides me who really knows him very well. Either way, he's a good guy and should be fun to have at the meet.

Hey Valpac - I'm actually glad to hear you had other plans. We were all afraid that you had gone to the other location and ended up sitting around by yourself, so having other plans was definitely a better alternative!

Sorry to hear you couldn't make it though - we'll have to make a Valpac meet next time you're in town

Anyway, I had a great time tonight - can't wait for the Disney meet on the 7th!

 

It was nice putting some faces with screen names. And the location was great for me!! HA!

 

fun meet. first time hearing the cork sport (be it with a midpipe) the idle was heaven.....very rotary, and while loud, it was a nice sound.

Swoop : That fly by on the freeway was HEAVEN for me, i couldnt stop thinking about it for the rest of the ride home. lol when the time comes for a differnt exhaust setup....lemme know! and sorry if my 72mph cruise was off the pace, I was trying to make it round trip on a half tank (202 mi total) and I did it!

That tank was half hwy and half city and I got it done in 23mpg! a new record (other than an all hwy tank at 24.5) so it looks like the new motor is right on par with the old one.

 

yeah, I agree, a nice sound, isn't that right Mr. Linear, uh oh I mean Swoope.

It reminded me of the Tron sound when they are riding on the bikes in the beginning of the movie..... I might need another cup of Joe.....
