Thumbs up Smokin' Deal on New "R" Compounds! Sorry not much in the 18" sizes

I just bought a set of brand spankin' new Hankook Ventus Z211 R's for $145.00 per shipped on close-out.

They are supposed to be faster than the Toyo RA1's but slower than the Hoosiers so expect the tread life to be somewhere in between.

They are somewhat similar to the RA1's in that they do have tread for rain when new and wear away with 2 circonferencial grooves.

However, they are not symmetrical and have reinforcements on the outside shoulders. The upside is that they are more tolerant of low camber settings seen in street suspensions and the downside is that you can't "flip" them to get more wear.

Lego, I believe they even have some 15 and 16 inch sizes in the $90.00 + shipping range which might work out well for your RX-7.

They are @ Frisby Race Tires in Chicago Illinois. Its such a great deal I might get a spare set

If you are good with a 225, expect a price in the neighborhood of 130.00 per + shipping

I am going to have to wear my track/street tires out first. After TA rides with me all weekend at RR, I might see if he thinks I should stay on street rubber, or go to something a little more sticky.

L8 Apex just to let you know, this is a limited time offer. The guy just got about 200 sets of tires (My size is 275-40-17 he's got about 40 sets of those)

A those prices these puppies could be be gone in a hurry. Don't forget these tires are on close-out so once they are gone, they're gone.

Just want to make sure you guys don't miss out.
