several of us 7 guys are planning on meeting up to caravan up to DGRR07 somewhere in the upstate. hopefully we can get a huge group of rotaries together to drive up with.
btw, have you guys been following the rolex series? the 20B speedsource RX-8 is leading both the drivers points and team points, pretty impressive

I'm from charleston just got an rx8 best out of all the cars i've had also have a mustang and had a tiburon which I can say sucked. I love cars my favorite car is 1969 Pontiac Firebird. Is there any RX8 groups in sc who get together?

I'm in Newberry. Big Mike - I'm the other RX-8 on campus. The velocity red one. I see your's parked at East Hall all of the time. Is there another one in Newberry? I haven't spotted one yet.

Hey guys! I've been away from the forum for a bit,(what would you guys do without me) Um to answer some things I read. For Deals Gap 07 this year RRDI (Raleigh rotary drive inn) Is caravaning from up there with prob 10-20 cars. I'm hopping that we can get a big enough group here in columbia. If your woundering, "yhea I'm going to DGRR07" It would be an awsome trip for all of us to go on. Also if we DO have a meet on April 7th we can all go downtown and watch the columbia stingers play. they are our new indoor football team for columbia. I went to there first game last week and it was fun. It's only $5 bucks and the game starts @ 7. We can meet in columbiana like last time and drive to the game which is about 10 min from columbiana but finding each other may be a problem with all the traffic. Also for all the news and info on DGRR07 you need to go to RX7CLUB.COM and go to the event section and find DGRR its on the main page of the sight. o & look @ my new face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would think to meet at 6:00-7:00 I dont remember if the game is @ 7 or 8. Hey Kareem are you going to DGRR, I'm leaving early thrusday (19) if you want to caravan. How else is coming?

Sorry for the late relpy guys, I've been uber busy as of late.
Michael, I'm not able make it to DGRR this year nor am I able to make it to the meet this weekend. I'll be out of town for the most part You guys gotta keep those unfortunate rotor heads like myself informed on how these meets go. Looking forward to seeing some pics from DGRR07.

well now im definately out for the 7th... not just because of work... i was in columbia last night and while i was in a restaurant, some guy backed out and slammed into my car... thankfully nothing was seriously damaged... only some body work is needed and he's going to pay for the repairs. so sad though

ya i noticed that a couple weeks ago! its all i had while i sat at my computer doing nothing! perfect example... last night. ya is a pretty nasty mark on the car... ill try to get a pic up as soon as possible... haha the shock factor hasnt gone away yet...

Who's near me?
Ive had my peeps opened in Charleston for 8's - 2 winning blue, 2 velocity red (not including mine) one yellow, one black, one white, one green. Thats within 2 months of owning one. Who else is out there? If anyone near Charleston wants to hang pm me or email is mchljerson@yahoo. Would be willing visit Beufort or Columbia too, never been.

I've had my RX-8 for about 6 weeks. First time owner here in Greenville, SC. Do not see that many in the Greenville area. I've seen about 10-12 in total. Saw quite a few riding down to Myrtle Beach last weekend. I've noticed that it is a car that gets many looks.
While driving through Columbia....I had a van full of young men video taping as the wife and I rode down the road. That was funny!!
