There is petite racing in Palm Beach Gardens/Lake Park area. It's kinda hard to find if your not from the area, but it is near the Bev Smith Ford that was just re-done. They do a ton of work on RX7s and 8s.

Here is the link for Pettit

http://www.pettitracing.com/

They have done all the work on my car. I am totally satisfied with the shop. I live in Pembroke Pines it's a drive but well worth it. They are off of NorthLake and 95 that is exit 77 you go west for a mile at the Hess station which is Old Dixie make a right. Make the second right and your there.

can you give a brief synopsis on the SC, im really looking into this dfor more power (unless i go for another bike or maybe a wave runner) but id like to stay as reliable as possible. ive read through the threads and am impressed so far. is 8psi the max you can do on stock injectors...ive seen guys running the greddy turbo on 11 psi close to 300whp on stock injectors....can i atleast bump up to 9 or 10psi with the Pettit SC....i figured they say not to go past 8 just to cover their *** by over pwoering oem parts.

how does the boost feel, ive seen the dyno but does it have a sudden rush of power or does it feel like a nice steady increase, is the throttle response improved. man i gotta pay you for a test drive man.

If you visit Pettit they have a car there that they take customers out. My understanding is there is no lag in power like most superchargers...tons of torque too (as much can be expected on a Rotary). They are running on 8psi for reasons of reliability and plan on developing a Stage III version with upgraded fuel pump, injectors, etc. Find the Pettit thread and read up on it...Start from page 1 as that has the most information.

Fortunately I recently had the pleasure of meeting Munche and he took me for a spin in his char with the stage 2 S/C is it. The car was alot faster than what I originally thought. Much more torque throughout the entire power band. I know I'm getting one when I get the money.

There are answers to your questions there and dyno sheets. There is also info on the pulley questions.

F the bike or jetski get the S/C.

not a problem you need to come up to one of our meets up here. Last night we were asked to leave from the parking lot where we usually meet so we went and crashed a nissan meet.

1 RX8 me

6 mazdaspeed6

4 Boosted protoges

1 sti

2 RSX

1 06 SI

1 S2000

And that does not include all the nissans they were about 20 of them.

lol but bikes are fun too, jus a lil on the risky side...and after riding this sea do or polaris or w/e wave runner ive been hooked on it. ironically it was supercharged too lol.... i think it was a sea do something er other GTX....doing 40 on a waverunner is nothing like doing 40 in a car... and i wasnt even using 1/3 of the waverunners potential.

but a s/c car would def be alot o fun too, esp on an rx8 paired with great handing, that would make for a great all around car.
