When and if my Canzoomer stage I comes in, I will be installing it as soon as possible. Fedex delivery SAYS it will come in tommorrow, but we shall see. When it finally comes, I am offering anybody who wants to come and help/watch the install and the required test drive afterwards. God of Thunder gave me the idea of doing this, as well as maybe doing some comparison runs (to the legal limit) just like Maurice has been doing in Canada. Expect it to come it tommorrow, with an install tommorrow night. Otherwise, it would be Tuesday night of next week IF Stage 1 arrives on monday or tuesday.
The install could be done at my garage in Marietta, but if anyone wants to offer their house (since their is no house connected to my garage), that would be welcome. I don't know if this will happen, but I thought I would put the offer out there.
I am certainly starting to get excited, its been a 3 month wait for me. Now lets see what fedex does...

I may throw it in the car, but would still love to do some comparison tests with some modded and non modded cars, including those with intakes and exhausts. If it comes in today, what is your time frame for tommorrow? Getting excited, I hope fedex doesn't dissapoint.
Edit: I just checked the tracking numbers, and the Stage 1 is in lithia springs GA as of 7:00 this morning. This could mean a very possible delivery today!!! I wonder if everyone who got their stage 1 was excited as I am.

 

Mine was supposed to come in today.. it takes a little longer because of Customs. I might get it monday.

 

Mine has arrived, at the install took about 25 minutes total. I took the obligatory test drive, and found that the car definitely has some extra kick. To be honest, it is harder to judge the increase in power in this hp dominated powerband. The 25 hp increase my friend got with the boost chip in his VW GTI 1.8T was VERY noticable since the increase in torque was a similiar amount at lower rpm. Last time we raced, we were dead even till 120, then I pulled away due to better aerodynamics. Maybe it will be differenct next time...
Dennis and I are meeting up tommorrow to do some comparison runs, and would love it if any other RX8s showed up. Since I started touring the local car shows, the RX8 turnout has been less than ideal, actual, only 1 other RX8 has ever shown up at a meet I attended. Oh well, can't win em all.
We both have Borla exhausts, so the only variable will be drivers and stage 1. I'll give a time and place tommorrow if I can, otherwise we will post results tommorrow.

 

How did the comparison runs go?
