Sunlight silver in Sunny Florida?
For all of us in Florida...
Is it true that Silver is more prone to fading unless waxed often?
Just wondering if there's any truth to this and if so, what prevention is there?
Thanks,
Taz

My experience tells me that the darker the color, the more likely that fading will be noticable.
maybe I'm wrong. Just remember to keep a good coat of wax on it at all times and you should be ok.
I don't know that any ONE color is more likely to fade than another however.
probably would depend more on the conditions it's placed in.

Most definitely, a darker color will noticeably fade quicker than a lighter color. Quite often red cars loose their brightness fairly quickly, unless you take good car of it.

I dont know if any color will fade as long as its metallic. If it's metallic it shouldn't be a problem and I believe that all rx8's are painted metallic. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The paint on my Titanium has definitely gotten lighter. After my car is cleaned - if I go to a well lit gas station for example at night - some of the cars paint looks like a crossbreed between Sunlight Silver and Titanium Gray at certain angles. But whenthe cars dirty it looks as dark as usual. Ill take a pic of it oneday to show you how much lighter it looks after a fresh wash.
I definitely did not wax it enough.
