good. Another red. It's about time. There are titaniums everywhere. Seems to be the most popular color. Have yet to see a green one in the wild though.

I had bad shift forks.. Potent has heard them..
when I was shifting into 4th above 6000 rpm's i'd grind every time.. Turns out to be a known problem with earlier 8's
Mazda had them rebuild my tranny. I should be picking it up today.. I dropped it off on Wed. Took a week to get parts tho.

I need to get in for an oil change and try to convince them to do something about these noisy brakes.

Yeah, if you're at 6000 something revs then it just barely grinds before going in gear.. but if you take it up to redline then shift it grinds like crazy until it gets to 6 k..
You may have the same problem. I'll post the results of my repair later or in the morning..

saw a velocity red today on bay pines blvd at thunder marine.
btw - what are some M flash friendly dealers around here? I took the latest tsb (which states that all vehicles are to be update to the latest calibration) to Russell, and they said no, only if I was expierencing problems....im getting sick of this

Not sure actually, Im due for my first oil change in 1k miles and imma try and hit Lindell for the flash. Everyone there seemed pretty cool. I figure when I take it in I'll just tell them it seems to have trouble starting at times and my gas milage has been outrageous (which it has)

ill try ferman next week...if that fails im gonna pound MNAO till something gets done about it. did you go in for other service? what exactly did you tell them?

I told them I wanted the M flash on my car, they said no problem. I did an oil change while I was there. 1300 miles.
I go there because it's the closest dealer to me, and I bought my car from them.

heh.
The computer in your car can have it's software upgraded. The newer software leans out the fuel giving you better mileage, smoother power, and also fixes the flooding issue.

crazy. I usaully see maybe one 8 on the road during the week. I saw three today. I drive from Trinity to Clearwater every day. I saw two turning into East Lake high. A red and a silver. How did you kids sucker your parents into such an expensive car? The other one was on 19 turning onto Curlew headed for Mcmullen-Booth. Another silver.
That was only the second red i have seen besides mine.

Yeah I see a red 8 parked out thunder marine all the time on my way to work. Not many I see have any mods though usually older folks driving them around here. Although I did see a mid 30's woman driving a sunlight silver with some pimp chrome 19's on it. Looked pretty sweet. I wouldve honked or waved but I was driving my new 4runner and she probably would have thought I was just making a pass at her.
