dave, racing beat is a great brand... as for pettit, they are very reputable. If the supercharger is something you are serious about then talk with Juan, he has one and is very "hands-on" with it. I am sure he can help you out with list of mods that he knows you will need to support the sc.

Holy crap I may even be able to attend that event...shocking...I will let you all know if I can attend.
So, amidst all my traveling over the past 2 months...I have had some time to browse some future purchases for the ol' R3. I'd like to get some thoughts on these:
I am planning to go with the racing beat only because borla isn't made for the 09+'s. Although the Racing Beat products have always been nice.
-Racing Beat Cat Back - Dual (I cant decide if this looks good or not...)
http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8/Cat-Ba...sts/16395.html
or
Racing Beat Cat Back - Single
racingbeat.com/RX8/Cat-Back-Exhausts/16394.html
I have also been looking at RB Headers. Is it even worth getting? My only real issue with the RB version is that there doesn't seem to be an 09+ application yet.
http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8/Exhaus...nts/16133.html
I also wanted to cue you all into a site I found (maybe a repeat). Pettit Racing out of West Palm Beach has a decent website. It also looks as though they have a supercharger for the RX as well. I have been toying with the idea of forced induction, but have been hesitant due to the nature of long term breakdown. These guys "seem" to know what they are doing. Feel free to give them a look. http://pettitracing.com/rx8/index.htm
I can't wait to be back in Tampa and get out of the cold. See you all at Dupont soon!

As far as headers go, for the HP gains you get in return I don't really see the value. I would go for a Midpipe way before headers, I would look at the BHR Pipe. Chris has one and it sounds great. Here's a link:
http://blackhaloracing.com/products-...nated-midpipe/
And yeah Pettit has been around for a while and their kit should work fine on a Series 2 as far installation and operation, but the only problem is that no one has developed a tuning solution for the S2 RX-8. So your only option right now would be a full standalone EMS, like something from AEM or Microtech, which would be very expensive.

Thanks for all the great info. I am considering the quad tip RB exhaust. Thanks for the tip on the Midpipe. Wasn't someone trying to get rid of one? . My only real concern is noise. I am sorta past the days of making car alarms go off as I drive by, as well as preventing hearing loss while driving around town. I guess I will just have to see how loud the exhaust is inside the car and then assess if the midpipe is too loud of an option.
Thanks for all the feedback. See you all hopefully soon.

So are you selling that midpipe, cause I might be interested. Also I am considering getting wheel spacers. Any limit on size? 20mm vs 25mm? is 25 too much without rolling the fenders?http://www.worksconcepts.com/eibach/.../i-403112.aspx
This winter storm here in Cape Cod is not good for my wallet. I'm browsing the internet too much for parts. I should be back in FL this weekend. My flight on Thursday has already been canceled.

hellz no im not selling it
they are new to the market so its kinda hard to find one for sale that is used... but you can order one through the bhr website... www.blackhaloracing.com
you should be good with either 20 or 25mm spacers. now I know its all good with stock 18s... I cant confirm with the r3 19in wheels though... if you are planning on lowering the car I would say go with 20.

Sorry to barge in but I am going to Wesley Chapel (Saddlebrook resort) for a business trip and was wondering if there is anything worth going to see on my down time fairly close by?
Thanks,
Thanks,
