Cost: $25 cash donation / worth of toys per 20 minutes on Full Course Session.
If you've never been to the track it's worth the trip. Each session is controlled by a pace car but they're plenty of opportunity's to really open up the throttle and have some fun! I will def be attending early that morning. It does get busy so I would plan on arriving between 7 and 7:30 @ the track. It's only about an hour and half from the Raleigh, NC area and the ride up is great. If anyone's interested in going PM me and we'll see if we can organize a group.

I'll be there, but I'm not hard-core enough to be there at 7am. Last time I got there at 8:15 and was near the front of group B which was on track about 9:30. If they do the $10 ride in the Aerial Atom again, that is definitely worth it. 110mph through the climbing esses. You also can get a free session on the kart track.

hey guys...A good friend of mine has an S2K..He attended the last event and had great turn out with the S2K crowd. They will have a 20-30car caravan leaving from Raleigh. If you all would like to join I will be updating this thread with a time and place when the information becomes available.

VIR has some info on their website now, but not many details http://virnow.com/files/2012/10/Holiday-laps.pdf . I'll be up there next weekend so I'll see if I can find out anything else about photographs, Ariel Atom rides, kart sessions and other things they've had in previous years.

Unfortunately no. I spent all my time around the teen driving school, while the VIR officials were busy with the big SCCA meet, so I didn't find anyone who could give me more info.
The good news is that no registration is needed - you just turn up, sign the track waiver, hand over your cash and you're good to go.

Reminder that this is coming up in a couple of days. The info on VIR's website still says it starts at 9am, but the latest email they sent out now says 8:30am. Also confirmed Ariel Atom ride-along laps for $10 are available.
See y'all there!
