Triangle - Triad Area:

So I'll be heading out of Raleigh by about 8:00 am on Saturday morning and meeting 1redhot8 in Winston by about 9:30 then we will be leaving for asheville after a quick bite at a Chik-Fil-A in Winston. If anyone in the Raleigh, Winston, or anywhere along the way would like to join us, please let either one of us know.

It should be a blast and the more the merrier.

Peace,
DooD

OK... maybe im wrong... but motor trend seems to think that the nordic greed mica paint was offered in 2005 as well.... http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2005/...reen_mica.html

hey topgear8 i would love to do the clear corners... but they seem a bit too expencive at the moment... ideas on where i can get some cheap? Also, as for the wheels... I think im going to hold off on doing those till i go through the suspension... well... maybe ill do them sooner, but still gonna hold off on that a little while... I want to make it go fast before I make it look fast. I kind of like the Enkei RP-F1's 18x9.5 with the 45mm offset offered on good-win-racing's site... but well... If you know anything about the millitary, you know that we dont get paid jack... so thats gonna have to wait... What are some other light wheels that are wider than stock?

its definitely only an 04 color. You can get clear corners for 50 shipped off ebay search (k5com) as the seller. I would do wheels before suspension just because its a cheaper route. You can sell your stock rims for 500 or so and the new ones will be probably 800-1200 unless you get something crazy.

Hi everyone - I've just bought a 2005 Titanium GT 6 Speed... In the North Raleigh area. Interested in getting up to the VIR 400 in April - are there any Mazda groups that get together to support the race weekend? Also would be interested in doing a trip back to the Dragon - I've been through several times with previous car... Any good Mazda times to go?

Cookies? Fine, I'll bring cookies to the meet. And we will most likely take over the TV and watch the ROLEX race in the lobby while we're there haha!

ahhh, I cant go. I gotta work, plus my car is now in a bodyshop

I took it to wilburn autobody this morning and I'm freaking out becuase I'm reading all the negative reviews they have...
Theyre gonna repaint the pass door, the hood and bumper just to match the repaired fender, and I'm beginning to think that I should just buy a new painted fender from mazda and put it on myself. but then again its geico's call

Where's Garrett been hiding? Anyone tell him about the Lake Lure meet? Patrick, I think I will be driving the 7 this time instead of the 8... Im going to the ncrotaries meet the night before so I was going to just stay in Raleigh and head from there.

That sucks!! Have fun moving, Im in the process right now.... FYI guys, they just opened a new speed shop here in Wilmington called National Speed. They are shooting a show there for speed television too. I wanted to see what the interest would be of having a meet there then heading out for some driving... I can go talk to them if everyone is interested!

Yeah...moving will be fun. Probably not as fun as driving around Lake Lure

I will be there in spirit! You guys rock it out!

I am down for driving to Wilm. for a meet at National Speed...sounds pretty cool. Do you know if they have a dyno? That would be fun...I've never dynoed and I've always been curious.

Anyway, have fun this weekend and be safe.

Peace

Assuming Stevenson can get my transmission replaced quickly enough, I'm down...when will the meet/drive be?
