I'm pretty sure I know how to get to Falls Lake, but we should hook up with them somewhere in town so we end up at the same site.

Alright, plans almost set. Here's the deal.

Saturday June 9th, meet at Sonic ~6 for normal Raleigh meet.

Sunday June 10th, grillout at Falls lake. Time and exact falls lake location still TBD. If you guys want to meet up in somewhere before falls lake thats cool with me.

Here's the current signup sheet we have over in the saturdays in raleigh thread on the rx7club (click me).

If you think of anything we missed, add it. There is a good possibility that there will be some back road wandering after we eat.

We're still looking for more stuff to do as a group other than just hang out with the cars all the time. Got any ideas? share .

edit: Updated stuff list

lol i can drive an manual but the problem is i live right at nc state(alot of hills and stoplights) and I work in downtown raleigh where you get caught at every light. I was driving a manual before as my other spare car and it sucked in this part of raleigh. if i was back at home i wouldnt think a second about it.

I guess I can see your point, but I think you will regret an AT. Reguardless of lights or hills, in the long run- if you truly like a manual- you should get one......

Very cool Marcus, hope it works out getting the 8 soon. I've also got an auto-8 for that very same reason. Actual it was because of city driving in Jacksonville, Florida. Much worse that Raleigh here, but still the same concept. It gives you what you want for city and high traffic driving, but has just enough umph for the other times like country road driving.
Anyway com check out our meets sometime, even if you don't have your 8 yet.

Overall it's a pretty good group of people. There has been its fair share of drama lately, but that's to be expected with such a large diverse group of people.
I would definitely recommend at least checking out a meet or two to see for yourself. In fact the upcoming grill out would be perfect. The first meet I showed up for was the Falls Lake grill out they had two years ago; I had lots of lots of fun meeting new people and found out so much about the rotary engine. And since then, over the past 2 years I've made a lot of great friends.

Sounds Cool, I'll try to make it up there....Hopefully Tears will come too. Besides, drama is everywhere and pretty much unavoidable.......I can handle myself. Thanks for the heads up.

Sup Gary? Thanks for talking us up!

Rachael, we really are a great group...I've been with the group for about a year and half. The best group of people you could ever meet, IMO. You and tears should make it up next weekend, it should be a blast!

Hey Hough, Im in Fayetteville too.. Im thinking about going up this weekend as well. Let me know if you want to meet up and drive up together. Im kinda nervous about driving up as well. Marcus, I lived in Raleigh last year and drive a manual.. Trust me, its worth it! Have you looked in Fayetteville? I know of two used ones for sale right now. I can go look at them to get the specifics if you would like. I know one is gunmetal and I think the other was Blue if I remember correctly.
