This is nice to see this many people posted... I hang around quite a bit on the FLRX8CLUB... its pretty cool plus real simple to navigate thru... one other thing that i liked is that each day there is someone posting... plus its a great looking site.

For the most part, I scan this site for interesting information, and to see what problems/solutions people have.
However, considering the number of people here whose only role in life seems to be to point out how lame, stupid, stubborn, confused anyone who posts here is, it provides no incentive to post here. The abject negativity of people here, and their speed to call other folks names is amazing.
Considering the number of folks who seem to want to tear down people in this site, I am frankly uncomfortable expressing an opinion or getting involved. These folks scare me. Many of them are NOT the kind of people that I want to be associated with.
If anyone were to spend a few hours on this site before purchasing an RX, they should most certainly run screaming for the nearest (anything other than Mazda) dealership. It's not just the horror stories that would drive them away, it's the 'I hate my RX' posts, and the chorus of people who then chime in with other negative comments, followed by the quick degradation to name calling and F-You and F-You too. Wow. These people need some kind of social training and anger management.
I am quite happy with the folks on the Florida site. For the most part they are reasonable, helpful, and when they express an opinion, it is usually constructive. I see offers to help, friendly advice, and when name calling occurs, it is most likely done jokingly between friends with no ill intent.
I will continue to scan this site, and add occasional comments. But, I expect that when I do so (even following this posting) I will become a target for those who believe they need to flex their figurative muscles and start tearing me down for my opinion.

Skillmaker: You have a way with words.. you express yourself well... I scan this site as well.. but i prefer the other RX8 site... not just because its new but I feel that on that site it just seems to flow nicely... like there is a genuine interest of being part of a family of Rotorheads.. not that this one is not but I feel it more on the other one.

A pessimist will look at a mountain and ask, "Can it be climbed?" An optimist will look at a mountain and ask, "Is the escalator broke again??"
