Fat Cat Motorsports Coilovers
Fat Cat Motorsports coil overs for RX8 or NC Miata
Bilstein HDs modified with every option he offered at the time
Ripple reducer
Kerb Blow Off
Bumpstop tuning
Dyno'd and pressurized for each corner specifically.
Front shocks are from RX8/NC (they're the same)
Rear shocks are from NC Miata to take advantage of the shorter stroke
Eibach springs
550lbs front
425lbs rear
Height adjustable spring perches and helper springs
Spring rates can be tuned up or down 100lbs without needing a revalve on the shocks
Not even 1000 miles on
These were smoother and more supple on the street then the factory setup even at these high spring rates.
Ask me anything. Shaikh holds personal consultations with each client to make sure they get what they want. These were perfect. I know longer have the car and was planning on moving them into an NC Miata project but ended up going a different direction.
Note: NC Miata will need a different rear top hat then the RX8 uses.
Asking $3k
Corner weights of the car I provided when I ordered these.
Without me
LF837 RF790 F1627
LR670 RR695 R1365
Total 2992
Pic of corner weights was with me in the drivers seat at 195lbs
This is after I installed the FCM Coil overs and had the cars corner weights adjusted by a local shop
I ran these with stock sway bars. I was told by FCM that I should be using an NC rear bar but never got one.
Wheels were stock with 255s on them.

What swaybar(s) did you have these paired with?
Did he give you an idea of the impact of changing the unsprung weight (say, if the next owner had a different wheel/tire setup)?
I assume if they're tailored to each corner, that was based on corner balancing? If so, do you have your corner balance numbers?
I'm trying to figure out if they will need to be re-valved if they go into a different car.

Great questions, thanks!
