To be honest..if it's so quiet I don't hear anything except my engine..fine with me. I don't know if you've seen my other posts, but my car is so insanely loud that I need to do something about it..ASAP. The combo I did was a dumb idea...lets just put it that way. So..def you'll get your sound clips, don't worry. Posting sound clips saturday of my current terrible setup.

^-- well put. He was really knowledgeable and didn't brush me off. I told him my sob story of buying **** exhaust and he simply smiled and nodded and said "yeah...our **** is made for rotaries strictly. We use special resonators with steel wool" or something crazy like that..don't remember specifically but it sounded like he said steel wool. Sound right?

I just called Racing Beat myself inquiring about the DR Midpipe and they told me there was another delay and it would be another 3-4 weeks until release I didn't have much time to talk with them so I didn't press further than finding out it was something about a pre-silencer not coming in or not being quite perfect or something. I asked about price and my response was something in the $350-400 price range, so I figure we can look at a minimum of $350 but I imagine that $400 top end was a seat of the pants guess.
I'm with you on the sob story Zelse, I have the AP exhaust with midpipe and I'm dying at 4000 rpm for long highway drives (my daily commute is sadly all highway). For fun I have put in an order for a sound meter, so I'm hoping to test the sound level at highway cruise, full throttle near redline, idle, etc. before and after the RB midpipe. I'll do my best to get it up on the forums if anyone is interested in that sort of thing.

Just once it'd be nice for someone in the automotive parts industry to deliver a product on time. But this wasn't unexpected. Just hope they don't take too long and let Corksport beat them to the punch.
Actually what am I saying. I hope corksport gets theres out for less than $400 and RB has to put out their product cheaper then expected so I can get this thing and still have enough money for an oil change.
