Believe me, I hope Motomouse and I was talking to the wrong person at RB today, I need a quieter exhaust as quickly as possible. Please post if you hear anything different when you call again Zelsa.

I looked at it this way... I could wait for the RB pipe or the corksport pipe, wait for some people to buy it and see what they think... with the mazsport I've heard it in person and I know it is what I'm looking for...
But its like any other mod I feel... the more time passes the more you will like it or just take it off and get rid of it.

Well my only concern is.. Will my exhaust be loud because of my catback? It was DEAFING with the AP midpipe..but everyone says that midpipe is loud. Everyone claims the mazsport midpipe is insanely quiet, and if I get the RB header and midpipe..it'll be a nice deep quiet tone. But how about the header, dual res midpipe (with their deep tone silencer...remember they're coming out with two versions) and my HKS Hi Power..? Will that just be stupid loud again? Or just a bit louder, but tolerable and driveable...?

I think if you do the RB header and Dual res. midpipe that would be a good plan. The header was reviewed really well from RB and can be used with other midpipes... if you don't like the RB midpipe, it'll be new enough that you'll be able to sell a used one for almost the same price as new one.

Yeah, the mod time line is like this.
Stock Header and Stock Cat and Stock Exhaust...
Stock Header, Stock Cat, HKS Hi Power..
GT Spec Header, Agency Power Dual Resonated Mid Pipe, HKS Hi Power,
GT Spec Header, Stock Cat, HKS Hi Power
Yeah I was thinking the same... judging from what I hear from people with the mazsport dual res midpipe and other exhausts, I have a feeling my HKS will sound very similar to stock..but I mean, if anyone else can say otherwise, please let me know. I don't wanna go all out on this..just to not drive my car again. With the AP Mid Pipe it was just...too loud.

Power!!
I'm still waiting for a resonated hi-flow cat. That should be on the same order as the stock sound levels or dual resonated with the added bonus of being emissions compliant and more powerful.
Still looking for a high flow cat. that won't drone...

shaun: RP high flow?
My dilemma is that I know my high flow cat will only last so long with my new MM tuning and I don't want to be replacing it every year or so if I keep burning them up.
Problem is I LOVE the tone of the RP supercat with the RB exhaust and I'm not sure I'll be able to stand the SMELL of going cat-less.

Power!!
I'd definitely have to hear it. Everything I have heard about the high flow cats. is they are much louder and drone. I don't mind loud but don't want a drone at highway cruising.
