Well that depends on what you want , do you feel like getting more power? More style? If you want more power i suggest saving those 2g's for a turbo or supercharger. But if i were u and had you're 2g's i would buy myself things that would go well with the turbo , or something you're gonna want when you DO get a turbo , like mazsports "ignition solution" , Int-X etc. Yeah...aftermarket parts for the rx8 makes my wallet shrink .

tint, afe sts, rb sways, and a cobb ap.

find a used greddy kit for ~$2000

but!!! huge caveat here. just install it, and keep it at 6psi. dont raise it any or you'll need another $2.5k in supporting mods.

i actually paid 2k for my greddy kit. it came with bov and boost controller.

he can go up to 9 psi without issue. in fact, it's difficult to push the stock greddy components to an area where you'd NEED upgraded fuel pump, injectors, ignition. Those come into play when you hit 300 and 330 whp, neither of which is practical with the supplied snail.

In today's market? Are you serious ? even with the highest interest rate, You will not be able to get more than 100 bux after a year

I will just save it or use it on something else. Investments maybe ?

ha. with the devaluation of the dollar, you're going to come out with less money than you started out with.

well, the OP is looking into buying some parts, not how to make is money grow... but if he wants to invest it, savings bond would be the safest bet IMO

sounds funny coming from 8 owners.... If we were that serious about saving money we wouldn't by an overpriced car with super horrible gas millage, costing us more $$ then other vehicle options.

Not dissing the 8... I LOVE THIS CAR, but its not the most economical purchase ive ever made HAHAHA....We got them cause they're DAMN sexy, and Super fun to drive.

Put that in a CD and grow it... Zoom Zoom B!t@&e$ j/k

I suggest you read through the thread, "Mods I Regret" https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discussion-3/mods-i-regret-thread-120549/, so we do not see a thread from you in a few weeks complaining about your new mods

Seriously though, it is a good thread to check out to see what many of us wish we could/would do different.

IMO it is always better to enhance the handling of a car before adding more power. With $2k I would get tires and a nice set of spring and shocks.

Theres no such thing as a high interest CD. CD's suck, take that money and put it in an IRA which would net you 10-12% where a CD would get you 5 or 6 maximum.
