3" Dual Magnaflow Cat-back Vid

Hi guys,

Greetings from OZ!

Just thought I would share a vid of my Dual Magnaflow custom 3" cat-Back.

Nice deep note compared to a lot of other bolt on kits. No major droning whilst cruising.

3" is definitely overkill N/A but it serves a future purpose.

Painted the main pipe black using grill paint to 'winterise' it.

its a 2005, and yes they are rear s2 lights and bar.

Nice video. Couple of questions:

1. When you say custom are you saying you peiced the kit together using two of their off the shelf mufflers, creating your own piping from the cat to the muffler?
2. If the above is true, what muffler part number did you use?
3. How much was involved in the s2 conversion?

Correct! The muffler dimensions are 4 x 9 x 11in Oval shaped variety.

2. If the above is true, what muffler part number did you use?

Not completely sure on that one sorry.

3. How much was involved in the s2 conversion?

I have detailed photos and information of what I did, it does require some work but I can assure you the lights and bumper sit in the EXACT same mounting position as an original S2. No freaky overhang and ghastly fitment as some other efforts thats for sure. Perhaps I should start a thread for this?

@jtspells
Magnaflow mufflers substantially lighter compared to the cumbersome stock single muffler. This is based on feel alone, I have no numerical evidence.

yes please do start a thread. I would like to know. It looks great on the S1 model--even better than the s2 model!
Nice job on the exhaust too--the divider looks very smooth.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Very very happy with the exhaust, can't get sick of that sound!

Since I have your blessing I'll start a thread! Secretly nervous about starting threads here, I've seen the body bags of noobs who ask stupid questions lol!!
