Many people take that attitude, however many also neglect to consider that change != upgrade. This goes for the hundreds who bought the K&N hot air intake and claimed they felt the 10 hp gains, when they actually lost at least that.

In the end, there are only about a 3 or 4 mods for a NA car that are worth doing, the rest are fluff.

^ you won't be disappointed. Racing Beat will never release a product that they won't back up. They test and test and test. Ask anyone that was waiting for this Midpipe in March-April.

make sure your using some heat when taking off the header nuts, they tend to rust and can seize. Oh, and do it the right way---- use a lift!

This sounds just about perfect... I've already got the intake, and wanted the Mazdaspeed exhaust, but was afraid of it being "too" quiet - seems like the RB midpipe takes care of that, without it sounding like a chainsaw.

Does it drone on the freeway?

Anyone else care to reckon how much louder this setup would be when paired with a header? Haven't yet found a sound clip of intake+header+midpipe+catback..

the least expensive one that you can find.

Make sure you know what noise level you want. Resonated or not.

With almost all of the pipes out there it won't matter if it's resonated or not. It will be loud as hell and very raspy.

Has anyone heard Corksport's catalysed and resonated midpipe? I'm considering it. I want to keep some kind of functional catalyst in the exhaust (not telling anyone else what to do, this is just my personal preference for my personal car); but I would like to free up some restrictions where I can.

this sounds awesome. No raspy farting or anything.... Damn.

Sorry to the other vids, sounds too much like a weedwacker for my taste.

I just installed the CorkSport single Res pipe with stock cat back and it sounds really good, not obnoxiously loud but a lot deeper sound, doesnt seem to backfire as much as some others Ive heard either but I'm not sure how much the sound changes after using it for a while.
