? about canzoomer...

okay, you say there is a certain leap in power at 5000, isnt that a bad thing? i know a lot about the rsx-s and its ivtec and the rsx people are all buying the hondata reflash, which seems like the canzoomer. but when you buy the hondata, it "seems" like vtec is gone, when all they did was lower it to make the powerband smoother. why would you want a sudden jump in power? a good smooth curve is what everyone wants, isnt it?

Nothing wrong with the surge in power, that's just the way the system is tuned. Most of the +25 WHP kicks in there, and stays there all the way to 8500 RPM. Once you've taken a ride in a CZ equipped car, you'll realize this "surge" is nothing but GOODNESS! :D

And the CZ Stage 1 is a "piggyback" PCM (ECU) device, that plugs in where the stock PCM does and the PCM plugs into it. The device actually replaces the PCM's output for air/fuel ratio at certain points in the rev range where Mazda had mis-tuned it.

Finally, the CZ Stage 1 can be ordered at www.canzoomer.com .

with all due respect...

check the hundreds of discussion bits regarding canzoomer's mod... there are also dyno plots posted on this forum... with a little bit of research you could certainly find out about the authenticity of this device. Not too many people who have it say anything bad, and most can't say enough good things about it.

Hi Jasrx-8
Please check this post https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ghlight=stage1

it has a copy of the dyno test that was done couple of weeks ago. I have a stage 1 on order, and I have been following the development of this device for the past three months, and I can assure you it is real and accurate. I have spoken personally to canzoomer, and he is very knowledgable person, and a gentleman. If you have any reservations I urge you to call him, and ask him about stage 1. In addition you may want to search for all the previous posts on stage 1, and catch up on all the work, testing, and claims. Again this is not a scam, I assure you.
Sincerely
Mark Qandil

I am skeptical as well, about your use of the search feature.

I would recommend starting in the forum labeled canzoomer as there are a couple of posts there.

If you're skeptical then don't buy the mod. If you're worried about your warranty, also don't buy the mod.

However, I think if you made a poll and asked people who actually have Stage I if they would reccommend it.. I think it would be 100% in favor.

I agree with guy 321 here. Dude there is a little search button on top. Use it. If your still skeptical, then don't buy it. Your loss someone elses gain.
