my car is stock, i need to replace my stock clutch just because it started problems, but i prefer to replace it with an aftermarket more durable and smoother engagement. Would any of the ACTs be good for my need?
The prolite flywheel is good enough?
ACT is a reliable brand?

I have no idea personally, but when I went to get a light flywheel, I told my mechanic I was gonna get an ACT, and he told me not to, saying he had experienced unreliability from ACT stuff.
However for all I know they may have shafted him on a payment or served him badly.
All I have is that 'Hearsay'...
(I got a Racing Beat flywheel, and so far so great!)

My motor is getting replaced in a week or so. I'll be replacing the stock clutch with the ACT clutch when they pull it. I already have the Racing Beat flywheel and will be replacing the friction surface on it as well so should be just like new. When I get it in I'll post my opinion relative to the stock clutch with the RB flywheel.

I have this setup... It takes a while too get used too (I also replaced my clutch line with a SS one). The clutch is a little rough, but it's worth it because when you drop it you can feel a better grip
edit: Didn't notice, I used the street/strip clutch.

I have the street lite fly (wish I had gotten the pro lite) and their pressure plate.. I have the Bonez clutch from Rx7.com. All excellent. The clutch is so much better than stock.

+1. it's awesome. engages and disengages well. immediate difference will be felt.
faster acceleration. not huge, maybe a few tads over marginal. top end feels a lot better imo.
revs faster in neutral if that's your thing.

basically the heavier clutch will handle more torque before it slips. It will engage and disengage quicker but be more difficult to modulate. The lighter flywheel will allow freer reving so the RPMs will rise and fall faster which helps with faster shifting. It frees up a little more HP due to less moment of inertia. I have the RB flywheel and stock clutch (right now) I like the Al flywheel but it is a little more difficult to engage on hills etc.
