adding midpipe

hi, i have a greddy sp2 exhaust and im thinking about adding midpipe so it'll throw flames. however i dont want it to be too loud so is it possible to have the resonator in the midpipe and still throw flames? also what kind of midpipe would u recommend thanks!

I have heard that the RP supercat throws flames, and the sound is quite nice!! Not too loud either.

There are a million threads on this subject please delete this thread and read through the various midpipe threads.

I would tell you "no, it isn't possible" in the most sarcastic way of typing possible.

But since that looks the same as "no, it isn't possible" when I type in a completely serious face, you might have trouble telling the difference.

There are many midpipes out there, and a couple of them have even done research and development on them with the rotary. Only 1 is worth the money spent, since the rest either keep costing you nerve endings and ear drum replacements or fail faster than your lack of searching and you have to spend the money all over again anyway.

Interesting, so I searched, and all I find is threads asking people to search when the question could have been answered right here, I mean everyone took the time to reply with search, they could have also put the answer down and kept me from searching even longer. What's worse, useless threads or redundant threads? I think useless threads is a bigger litter.

2 sec of serching mid pipe + flames
first result
https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/flames-guranteed-aftermarket-mid-pipes-207110/

as it says in there flames are a result of unburnt fuel, with cat to eat up that unburnt fuel you get flames. resonators are not catalysis therefore you get flames

edit: used google to search the site by the way. works much better than the sites search function

Any midpipe will throw flames. My agency power is dual resonated and I get little flames even through the stock catback

No Catalysis = Enough unburnt fuel in the exhaust to boom
