AEM CAI colors.
Sooo, I've been looking to buy this intake online from horsepowerfreaks, but they have like only 2 colors available.
I was wondering if there was another place I could get this intake(with the same price-ish) maybe in red to match everything else in my car.
BTW new to this forum and new to the 8, so hi2u all :D

there's a link in his sig to their site. They can powder coat it red but it would cost a little extra. Aside from that, I'm not sure of what you could do.

You could do what I did. Paint it.
This is Duplicolor Metalcast paint. If your proficient at painting this works rather well.
I bought the Polished AEM and used this paint on it. Good to 500 degrees. Apply it directly onto the metal. Very durable.

hmm... never seen it in red (aside from painted before). If you find that somewhere, that would be best obviously... otherwise paint like easy said or powder coat seems like your best option.
Edit: I just checked, fluid motorsports offers it in red... just find their link in the thread I posted above...

BHR- Black Halo Racing also sells the AEM products and gets great deals. Check thread https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/black-halo-racings-product-line-146611/ and PM Charles Hill for pricing.

Back when I had the AEM I purchased mine from VividRacing (I know I know.... there are some VR haters out there):

Here are pics of mine (when it was installed) for your viewing pleasure:

AEM doesn't make the multiple color options anymore but you may be able to find a place with remaining units on their shelves. The part numbers you are seeking are;
21-485P, polished.
21-485B, blue.
21-485C, chrome.
21-485R, red.
If you end up wanting one that is polished, I always have them in stock for $325, shipped.

Awesome info guys!
sorry for late reply to my thread; was out all day buying all the stuff for my car like for washing it and what now
(gotta love that microfiber waffleweave for drying!) :D
Fortune- I really like your engine color scheme, very nice
Charles- I may contact you when I finally decide what I'm going to do and want the polished like you said, so thank you so much :D
Easy- so did you like tape the parts you didn't want painted and what not? Looks very clean and seems doable for me
