AEM cai help

hey i juss bought an aem cai from a member on here and i was wondering if the sleeve that helps prevent hydrolocking is usually included or should i buy one and where i can get one? any help would be appreciated

Yes it is usually included, though I wouldn't worry about hydrolocking the engine -- damn hard to do on a rotary. You can get it from any AEM distributor.

you might try calling your local mazda dealership parts dept first. tell them you have the ms intake but the sleeve ripped when assembling. you would like them to try to track down another one for you.

i recently got a free piece of reducer hose this way. but i really do have the ms one, and i really did mess up my reducer hose, so i wasn't a lier.

You won't hydrolock - water is sometimes injected/allowed into the intake port to help clean out carbon. To answer your question, as many have already said, it does come with the sleeve.

Correct.
Your MAF sensor, on the other hand, does not like water interfering with it.
