Wrong forum... Anyway installing it is really easy.
Remove the stock airbox assembly, accordion pipe and bumper. Install intake, fit bumper back... job done!

Moved Thread.
When your ready to document your install, then post in the DIY Forum.
There might be one already there. You could also search for Mazdaspeed CAI. It's the same, different name.

Not really...undo the bolts that hold the corner lights..undo the fender plastic retainers, undo the 10 bolts on the lower front edge to the undertray....undo the plastic pins and bolts that hold on the radiator diversion plate..then the 4 bolts that hold on the top support of the bumper
carefully seperate the bumper from the car by the healight areas....

This is mine.
I would prefer to remove the bumper cover to gain easy access to the area I need to install the AEM. Taking a few more bolts/screws off to make the install easier is the optimum way.
Leaving the bumper hanging around on the front/undertray of the car is not a good idea in my book. Take the screws out and clear up the opening to remove the front crash bar.
Having been a mechanic for over 40 years I have found that the easier it is to access something, the easier it is to work on. Spend the extra 5 minutes, if that, to remove the bumper cover completely.

I'd also recommend taking the front bumper off. Especially if it's your first time. Then to change/clean the filter next time you may not need to separate the undertray. Good luck!

Having just completed an install of the AEM intake, I cannot fathom how it can be completed without removing the bumper cover, especially to remove the crash bar. However, if Team says it can be done I doubt he's lying. I'll definitely try it when I have to replace the filter.

I don't necessarily expect an uber-n00ber to do it the first time through. I just threw it out there for those who might be interested in some common sense advice. I don't care if it is 5 seconds, 5 minutes, or 5 hours of savings. If there is a faster, easier way to do something without any negative impact then that's the way I will do it. Somebody working in a limited space might like to know they don't gave to figure where to put the bumper cover where it also won't get scratched, damaged, or be in the way for them to trip over it everytime they turn around.

I suppose if you have never considered or done it a certain way it may not make sense. I just happened to have mine apart with the shrouding on top of the bumper support removed for some other work. You can clearly see how accessible it is by just pulling the bumper cover out some the way I described above

^ just saying because it's his first time, and I think he is doing it by himself. The bumper sometimes want to do funny things, like scratch a headlight when it flexes when corners are being taken off the retaining bracket.

so do ignorant replies, apparently you never had to work in a cramped one car garage with kids or a dog running around, or you never accidentally dropped or tripped over anything in your entire life as an illustrious God among the rest of us mere mortals ...

I tripped on many things, even bent a fender because i fell on my car. However this doesn't relate to remove a bumper which can be done in the middle of the street in less than 30 minutes.
