AEM CAI Questions

Can anybody tell me the OD of the piping That AEM Supplys? Is it the same all the way through or does it change at the filter body? Thank you

I believe that there is a reducer when it goes into the throttle body, but its the same size all the way through. If I remember, I'll double-check mine when I get off of work.

Now you got me thinking (scary).
I just removed and cleaned my filter this past weekend and I don't believe that the filter neck was as "open" as the piping thats inside the engine bay (I removed the piping also to clean them out because I noticed a little moister inside).
Damn it...

Here are the dimensions:
The lower inlet pipe = 3.25"
The upper inlet pipe(s) = 3.5"
Reducer hump hose = 3.5 - 3.25"

Just curious... why just the filter? Do you have an AEM installed and just want replace the filter?
If so, try cleaning it first. The AEM Dryflow filters are easy to clean and don't require oiling.
Solution bottles are sold as a pair for about $8 at Summit Racing!

No, I'm having the piping made myself. I'll show & tell you how it comes out.
