its completely naturaly to feel somewhat nervous or afraid of taking the leap into nitrous, but thats why we're all here to help you through it!
and believe me, once you go NAWZ, you ain't never goin back!

^^ not really, rx8 engines are maxed out on performance already. some engines on other cars have more potential to be modded and more room for cusomizing performance etc.
by bolt ons you probably mean exhaust intake right? turbos and sc's are bolts ons and provide whp close to/over the 300 range.

I zoom therefore I am.
Mazda squeezed out most of the available HP from the 13b. The stock items that are easy to replace are pretty much as free flowing as they can be.

In my opinion, I think it's both. As said, Mazda kinda maxxed out the Renny... but also on the same token.. You can add an intake, header, exhaust, and pulley to your average car.. granted you'll probably gain a few more horses than the 8 would... but you're not gonna see a huge power gain either.

I just installed the intake it took me 3hrs to install it. I am looking to go for a ecu upgrade or an exhaust and then maybe some pulleys? and seriously NAWZ is ricer and what is it dynoed.

As for ecu tuning wait for the COBB tuning accessPORT, it will be cheaper than anything available right now and is hella user friendly, but thats my opinion.
As for naws being for ricers is nonsense, so by that logic going fast is for ricers? That sh*t makes your car fly

COBB is definately worth it. I had it on my WRX, great product. But if you want something right now and only plan on doing bolt-on's then I would go with Racing Beat's ECU reflash.
As far as nitrous goes, I only think it's ricer if you only hook it up as a purge kit, and not to the motor.

Nitrous purge is awesome... if you're actually purging it from the motor... but there are alot of people out there that just buy a bottle and a purge it.. it's not even hooked up to the motor. They'll cruise around and purge the line, acting like they're big sh*t. That is ricer.

AEM is basically full of ****. i've taken my front bumper off twice already (intake and headlight replacement) and taking off my front wheels never even occurred to me mainly because i wasn't following some POS instructions.
save yourself some time and dont take off the wheels...
