AEM Intake?
Does anyone know when the AEM/Ingen intake is comming out. I read that post on it, but nothing there and nothing on the site. I got my racing beat exhaust and i want it a lil louder so i was lookin into getting intake. But i dunno if i should get a K&N or wait for who knows how long for the AEM intake? Plus you guys think there will be a big difference in sound, i don't really care about performance.

Looking for an AEM intake? i found one on this site...only problem is you have to call for the pricing...

If you want to make it louder and get the added bonus of a true performance gain for about the same price then I'd go with the midpipe. Just get the one with the resonator cause without the car can be obnoxious (sp?).

they supposedly are in testing but it's been well over the 2 week time frame the tech stated...either they are finally making a "tuned" intake rather than the waste of money everyone else has thrown out on the market already...or it became to difficult and they gave up...

The testing is 95% complete. This particular application required new tooling which is going through reliability testing right now.

A long arm intake like one in JDM from Trust/GReddy is an interesting idea... maybe best combined together with the advantages of an intake like K&N... ie variable.
OTherwise... you'd do well to take notice of what RE, AutoExe, and HKS... and finally K&N have done... cooling box around the filter to absorb heat and lower intake temps.
