is it for sale already, ive seen a couple on ebay but i dont know if they are fakes or not. Also will this one have the same idle problems that the k&n had.

 

They just got their M/T '8 for testing a week ago, tops. They had to test fit and dyno. I'm thinking it will be a little while before/if it gets finished and production ready.

So, to answer you remarks, the e-bays are probably fake. I don't know if they have another intake on the market for the '8 right now.

I'm hoping that the tests they are running have verified there won't be an idle problem, otherwise they (hopefully) would have gone back to the drawing board and hopefully let us know about it if they did.

 

Did you see the intake when you brought your car in? Or did they not show it to you..

looked pretty convincing... they even had the right part number.... i wonder if its even worth taking a chance

 

Go ahead and order it then and see what you get. Sheesh robertdot and I have both been in communication with AEM here in California and can both tell you that it's highly unlikely that it's out yet.

Though I agree the e-bay does look convincing.

Still I also see someone asking over $200 for a brand new Nokia communicator 9500 phone thats not even released yet... read the small print and they are not selling the phone, just a link to a place supposedly selling the phones for just $40, the amazing thing is... peeps are bidding!

It's not on the AEM Website so why would it be available on e-bay?

Well i don't know about it being on AEM's site because i have not been on it, but the cold air intake and the short ram intakes for the rx-8 are for sale on a bunch of different websites.

We were discussing pictures.. prototypes.. etc.... Where did that all go?
