OK Aftermarket Mod Question

Hello all,
I am about 1 month out from buying a 2010 R3. I have come up with a list of initial mods and want to make sure that I am not missing something. This is my first rotary so any and all input is appreciated. Here is what I have planned so far.

SR Motorsports GT4 package which includes:
-Cold air intake
-High flow cat pipe
-High flow exhaust
-Underdrive pulleys

Thanks for you time.

Don

-Stay away from pulleys... waste of money with no real gain.
-Don't expect much from a cold air intake... you'll mainly get increased sound. Mazda did a good job with the OEM intake and there is not much left to gain.
-Look into a lightweight flywheel and short shifter (if manual).
-Unfortunately the Cobb AccessPORT will not be available to the R3, but its used for tuning, system monitoring, and checking/clearing CEL codes.
-Depending on what you want to do with the car, look into suspension mods.
-And honestly... search around for other high flow cats and cat-back recommendations, you can do better.

And one of the best things you can do is learn how to navigate this website.
There is a wealth of knowledge here, so spend several hours browsing the searching.

Oh... and you also posted this in the wrong section of the forum.
This is for the Series 1... you want to post in the "Series II Tech & Performance (US 2009MY-)" sections since you are planning on purchasing an R3.
But you can still learn a lot from browsing the S1 section.

Just FYI there are not many aftermarket mods available for the Series II. If you really want to mod it I'd recommend getting a late model Series I (maybe '08?)
