Is the Agency Power exhaust a true 3" all the way through like Turbo XS exhaust?

I'm trying to find out which would be better for turbo applications.

When is it actually out? from the looks of it this is the one i want...

 

They say it will be out mid January. I have the Agency Power on order, but I'm trying to decide if the Turbo XS is going better for my turbo RX8 soon?

I can't tell if the Agency power is a true 3" setup like the Turbo XS?

I wish I could find some pics of the PepsiOne Rx8 to see the Agency Power tips on the rear.

According to Polak, no, like most of the others it is not a true 3 in exhaust.

 

How did Polak find this out or verify that?

The reason why many exhaust systems taper towards the cat is due to the size of the cat being less than 3". Does anyone know the size of the stock cat pipe?
If it turns out to be less than 3", and AP catback bolts right on, then you know its not a true 3". I don't think looking closely at the picture would tell you much...

 

the agency power is a header back piece but i think it tapers down there

 

I'm just done waiting for this exhaust I've had it on order for about a month now.

Now I'm just trying to decide if it will be any different than say TurboXS 3" exhaust.

Turbo will be used in this application!

Need some opinions!!

 

When is it supposed to be shipped to you? Let us know if it truly is a 3in exhaust, the weight, and take some pics!

 

I'm told in a week or two. I'm just having second thoughts about AP vs. Turbo XS.

 

im not planning on a turbo, i just like the ap for some reason.

 

I guess I will find out soon enough.

Don't all exhausts, no matter what make, have to neck down to 2.5" at the flange that connects the midpipe with the exhaust pipe and then they can go back to 3"?

 

I just measured the connection pipe for my rx7store catback. It is 2.75" at one end, and over 3" at the other

Also, the obx header is supposed to mate up to stock exhaust, and it is 2.75" outlet as well.

 

no turboxs is 3in all the way just the flage is made to fit to stock header and yes the ap exhasust does taper down

 

I would imagine all of the exhaust that are 3" have to taper at manifold to prevent leaks with two different sizes. AP emailed me back and stated it's a true 3" system. I guess I'll found out when it hits my doorstep.

I just cancelled this order due to waiting. I talked to Matt at Vivid and he stated that they will be in at the end of Feb for sure. I couldn't wait that long. So if anyone wants to order HPAutoworks now has one available from the first batch that was spoken for. I went ahead and ordered TurboXS from Matt at Vivid Racing.

after reading the GG/BG forum threads I'd say you're probably better off

 

so did any one get an agency exhaust yet? Or is it still unknown if its actually out.

I know some companies where selling it at one point, but it was still not released.
