Agency Power pulley and CEL
I installed the pulley 2 days ago and now have codes P0300 (random misfire) and a U0073 (CAN communication error) I tried to reset the KAM and VNRAM and these codes come back.
I don't want to remove the pulley because there are no signs of performance loss as this CEL only comes on at WOT after 6K.
As for a quick review of the pulley....VERY worth the money. The power in the mid rpms is def. more noticable. By far the best bang for the buck (minus the current CEL ) Also, this was mentioned on the boards before and believe it or not the exhaust sounds a bit different (a tad louder) with this pulley. I can't explain why though.
Any ideas with the CEL?? Thanks

Did you somehow remove or move that toothed crank positioning ring thingy that was right behind the pulley? That is the only thing I can think of that may cause your problems. Someone posted about a similar problem after installing the agency pulley about a week or so ago so if you do a search you may find the solution. I would provide the link but I suck at that kind of stuff.

thanks for the link staticlag. i've done that (20 brake presses in 8 seconds KAM reset) and for some reason the CEL doesn't turn off when I start the car. I see the oil needle sweep half way and back and then start the car right?? I went ahead and put the stock pulley back on and manually cleared the codes with my scan tool, but they came back just as before.

I ended up just unplugging the battery and putting the AP pulley back on to see if that would do the trick. sure enough the CEL hasn't come back after my test drive Is it normal my car doesn't respond to the KAM reset??

When I put my agency pulley on I got the same CEL as well,
all I did was used the brake tapping to reset. stayed on for a few days then
suddenly went away. I figured as it's learning ecu it'd juz get used to it
could be wrong,

I don't have the Agency, but rather the Unorthodox set and to be honest, probably only felt like there was a change for the better in throttle response. It was noticeable though.
