Am i still going to get pooped on?

To be straight forward, im a broke college kid. So my modifications are few and take a great deal of time in between. I have this buddy with an older Audi TT, the 1.8 quattro, i believe its the higher power one (230 factory?). Long story short, kid freaken poops on me everytime i try to mess with him. Because he is more interested in his jeep he never does anything to his audi, i use his car as a controlled test of sorts. I know exactly how he pulls on me and how far of a gap he generates. Every new mod i ask for a rematch but, as you can imagine, with basic bolt ons, the outcome never changes. My car is an 06 (10k on its second motor) automatic 6 port with a full agency power exhaust (catback and midpipe), and a AEM CIA. My tax dollars came in and i upgraded my ignition system to bhr, and i bought lightwieght pullys for the alternator and AC, and an aluminum underdriven pully for the main. I have a feeling that even after i bolt more **** to my engine its not really going to make a difference, but i would like other opinions. He knows about my fancy new gold, blue, red, and green parts and has come to me first this time for a rematch. Im still going to lose... arnt i?

I really dont lose by that much, one car length maybe. I feel like if my rev limit wasn't 7500 I would have him. Cobb ap with mm tune might be worth investing in. But at the same time I reallllly want coilovers. Wheels and **** arnt good for financial stability.. unless shes a sugar mama.
