The dyno was not calibrated correctly.

Samething that happened to us with 25 cars on Dyno day.

Don't worry about it.

Ok Ok... if you must................

Then re-dyno it on a dynojet using a reputable shop.

yeah i am no longer worried about the number that i put down, I know that i am good to go as far as the number was. That was all the dyno. I know this cuz we put two other cars on the dyno at the same time (not 8s) and they put down really low numbers also. However, i was more worried about the peak horse being at 7000RPM instead of 8500ish RPM.

an italian forum member had the peak hp at 7000rpm (202hp or so, can't remember) with low compression, and they dropped before the 7500rpm.
With the new engine he hits the same power output but later.
I still can't figure out how, but that is it

you made this statement a month ago - I kinda feel there is stuff going on that we should all know about but you don't want to let it out of the bag because of loyalty to Mazsport ......

Short story is that i shipped the coils to Scott. He tore them down and visually inspected them and said everything looked ok. Then he installed them on a car he had at the shop and did before and after dyno pulls. He found that the coils were functioning perfectly and that they made a few more horse as stated. The coils are currently being shipped back to me. So obviously these were not the problem that i had with my car. So i still have no clue what the issue was with the car. Could have been dyno inconsistencies and or the fact that the guy running the dyno killed it twice pulling it on the dyno so the plugs were fouled on the Mazsport coils dyno. who knows. could be alot of things.
