Well, when you get here, open shop and start taking customers, we can think about sending you work.
Until then, Karl is here and ready to go!
Once you get here, the two of you can duke it out.

There is a lot of work to go around, anyway. From now on I'll send my tune jobs to......oh Hell, I don't know. JK.
I feel the same way, I dont care who does the work as long as its done right for a fair price. We all have our own specilaties so theres plenty of work to go around.

I am pretty sure there won't be any "duking it out" between Karl and I. We don't have those kinds of reputations. Besides, he's the pro and I am the wannabe.

Acura gets way better gas mileage & I will for sure want to travel.. Plus, Id rather the ever so great military movers to loose the Acura than the RX. haha.

I've never had issues or complaints about vivid's installation abilities, but if there is something you know that i dont please fill me in.

And if you wanted i could get you in touch with our old technician who now works there, maybe he would install it on the side outside of vivid if you have a problem with that shop in general.

thnx

Best bet is Karl at Berge. Just stay away from Vivid or anyone that works there.

Vivid is just shitty. I know there's a few horror stories on 8 club. More on 350Z and Subaru forums. Straight up horror stories

Who the Hell do you think is gonna jump on that? If Karl doesn't have a chance I'll be out in the next couple of weeks. Either way, it will be a "do it while you wait" situation. Ya gonna put a flywheel on it while you're at it? I just looked up some clutch/flywheel stuff for another guy, Abbid, so I have the latest info as to which ones and where to get them cheap.

I will probably get flamed for saying this but if the PP face is in good shape we can prep it and then you'll just need a new disc (and bearings/seal while you're at it). The Exedy that comes on it is typically the same one that ships with the aftermarket kits and it's a damn good disc. I go to "thepartsbin.com" for a lot of the stock-type parts because they usualy have several different quality levels in addition to the exact factory part and their prices are very reasonable.

Just stick with the OE disk. No need to swap anything else, though I'd go ahead and replace the release bearing since its right there, it can fail and its cheap.

Just read through the thread. There are a legion of possibilities to get this done.
