AP Midpipe Fitment Issue?

I just installed an AP Midpipe and it's about 0.5" shorter than my stock midpipe so the compression springs on the catback side are compressed and there's a 0.5" gap with the copper/brace coupler showing ... any exhaust experts able to remedy this issue? Was thinking of loosening everything back and trying to get it to fit snug, but ... ran out of time and just tossing around ideas.

Anyone know where to get another one of those studs that hold the spring on? I had to wrestle one of them off and gouged the shank pretty bad ...

Might want to call around to your local dealers and see if they have them in stock also.

My ap midpipe fit perfectly with my stock catback. Adjust your catback and make sure the doings are in right and tight.

I had the same problem when I installed mine, then I realized that I didn't use the rear gasket that is on the stock midpipe (its about 1/2 inch wide). I took the gasket off the stock midpipe and everything was fine.
