AxialFlow-Fathers day sale

We had a couple of calls asking if we had a Father Day special.
Note for life, these were women callers, men don't think that way.
Women have to have sales, that's how they spend all your money.
So in honor of women we love there is a sale until Fathers day for
$250 including shipping to the lower 48 via 2-3 day air.

This is the lowest price we have ever had. So show that to your woman and she may buy you a SS.

Excellent, ordering tomorrow! Should we just order it on the site and say we are from the forums, or put order in here?

How should we order this? The price is still the same on the website.

Sorry about that. You can't order from the website at that price.
You will need to pay through Paypal using the account: axcharg@socal.rr.com
It will take your address and such. I will know by the price what you want.

As for the brace I guess I have to include it also. It is such a low priced part there isn't much to take off. I will take $10 off of it for fathers day. However you are in Canada and the shipping is about $20. Nothing we can do about it. If we use the USPS it doesn't have to go through a broker. That's our normal way to ship there.

You don't need the brace to install the shifter.
The brace should reduce the brake pump flex during hard braking

Shifter

Wow - What Service & what a great product! Ordered mine late Thrusday, had it on Sat! I was not expecting it till the middle of the week and was going to install it the following weekend. Instead I started installing it Sat 11PM, was doing Laps around the neibghorhood by midnight. Awsome product, highly reccommended. Makes a world of differance. It feels like you are bolting up a rifle. Dramatic improvemnt to what was already a good shifter. $250 well spent.

A couple points:

1. Mine came with no instructions/documentation, so I used the instructions posted on the Mftg web site.

2. If you follow website instructions you'll break the right side cover tab. Instructions say pull tab to left, I found you need to push it to the right (Towards, passanger door). Those instruictions may of be written for Right hand drive cars.

Next up, MT & Diff oil change.

Received my shifter today ordered monday. Superb transaction and fast shipping you guys rock!

Just installed it about an hour ago and wow, what everyone says is correct its so much better. The feeling is kinda hard to explain but its wonderful.

Also something else was fixed in the process. Before when my car idled or the clutch was disengaged I had a weird cricket sound coming from the trans. The chirping drived me insane. Such awesomeness when installing the short shifter that noise ceased.

I am such a happy customer.

Thanks Richard!

So is there anything underneath the ball on the bottom of the shifter?? Does the stock shifter just pull out and the new one drop in? That just sounds to easy.....all the other shifter swaps Ive done are a bitch to do.

remove center panel, pulls right up
remove ashtray (two screws)
remove bracket around shifter (4 screws)
remove inner bracket (4 screws)

pull out old shifter, put in new shifter

reverse steps.

It really only takes 10 mins

the longest part of doing it, is taking out the 2 plastic clips which are infront of two 10mm bolts. They are a royal pita. I used pliars... but I hear using a paper clib bent into a U shape is actually better. Found that out after I did the install haha. Took me about 40min and a beer/smokes.
