Best Sounding Exhaust!!

I am about to purchase an exhaust system. I want to know other people's opinion
on which exhaust system sounds the most exotic.

Price is not a problem. I really want something that has an aggressive note, not a riceburner note.

Before you get flamed you should do a search. But to answer your question (which has been asked by others at least 15 times this year), I tend to like the Racing Beat exhaust, RP supercat combination. Not just because I have it, but because the tone is really nice, without being ricey loud.

i dont like the rp supercat and RB exhaust combination, but thats just me. i dont like the way the supercat makes the exhaust sound. the racingbeat is quiet but has a nice tone to it. if you want a nice loud throttley sound... borla or greddy are not so expensive alternatives.

I like the Greddy, it gives a nice deeper sound but has the occasional "pop" when you shift. Plus the Larger tips on the exhaust fill the holes very nicely.

What do you have to say about the Borla and HKS?

I totally agree with you but I wonder how it will sound like with the RP supercat? is it gonna be louder and deeper or what?

I love my borla... I also hate the "rice" sound that you get with civics and those big aluminum cans on the back. If your looking to get deep go with the borla for sure, it looks great in the back too!

personally I think the Greddy tips are to big, they've even melted the plastic on several cars out there. You may want to look into a Hymee exhaust, very nice piece, I've heard the Borla and it's pretty decent, I'd love to hear the Magnaflow but haven't yet. If money is no object go HKS or RE AMEMIYA or maybe even JIC as they're all pretty sweet, the corksport is nice as well, almost too loud though.

I have the HKS Legamax exhaust with stock cat. I love the sound. No problem getting past five OH. Not as loud as greddy, but louder than racing beats. Racing beats exhaust sounds too stock for me. Heres a clip of the exhaust with hks intake. You be the judge for yourself:

chalk another up for the HKS

it's only 2.75" and not the best for turbo, but I wont give it up for anything!

this is really hard to awnser, as everyone hears things differently and its all going to be opinion.

anyway :

I have heard HKS, Racing Beat, Hymee, Greddy of those I like the Hymee and HKS the best! Both have a great note...of course I have only heard them from outside the car while reving, or when driving next to the car, never heard them from inside the car.

1 of the owner here in Brunei uses tanabe(titanium tip). Without replacing the cat & the 8 is AT, the exhaust sounds great & good price too. I think it's slightly better than my HKS Legamax
