That's right - 15 months.
He can do it himself.

That's because we have only common sense and good instructional reading skills to rely on.

We also are humble enough to realize that perhaps the engineers who built the thing do in fact know what they are doing.

Ego is a funny thing.

It's no so common anymore because the rotary engine and little things such as the BHR coil installation and figuring out which AP map needs to be installed so the car runs right is so far advanced that the common sense function is quickly forgotten.

The brain then tries so hard to figure out mechanical skills on these difficult tasks that it has what some call a "brain fart." That "brain fart" then gets so screwed up it makes the human think there must be another way of doing this. The human lays down the detailed instructions to whatever he/she was doing and opens up the space aged computer to seek this 'Lord MazdaManiac' that is the only human on Earth to know how these things work. They try so hard to get 'Lord MazdaManiac' to fix it for them his brain has a "brain fart" because he can't figure out why the human can not follow simple instructions.

'Lord MazdaManiac' pounds on his computer keys in frustration because nobody else has this forgotten common sense skill that he breaks the key board and must wait until he creates a better one which in turn, makes the human wait 3 months for a simple tune or a more detailed list of instructions. The Human gets so aggravated by this that he thinks Lord MazdaManiac and the Bald Headed Retard have poor business etiquite and eventually says **** it and gives up thus breaking his/her car and blames Lord MazdaManiac.

Woah woah woah. I never said you guys were geniuses or nothing.

You guys too the time to look at a system disassemble it and figure out its weaknesses, then designed and built a new system that will address those weaknesses. That's engineering. There is a method to your madness (I think...)

It's called tinkering when you look at a system and say "I wonder if it would work better if I tweaked this"

Granted, I haven't gone back to read through the thread about what problems people are having, but I don't even understand how anyone could overthink the install on this, it's so basic.

Thanks for a great product. I think I've had it on the car about 8 months now.

Maybe since some people claim the rx8 sounds like a spaceship..... we should start calling them rocket scientists

SERIOUSLY, WTF?!

I am only speaking about the NA folks (like ME). Even before MM updated my AP Map my coils worked and performed exceptionally!

Also, I loved the comment about how MM will kick you to the curb if your 6 month subscription is up... Don't ask me when I bought my AP and how long Jeff has been tuning my 8. It is a lot longer than 6 months!

Someday people will realize that courtesy goes a long way and is a two way street! Some learn it sooner than others

yea 15 months... you would think the Mazra RX-8 guru tuner of the century could actually tune a car in less then 15 months... apparently not though

You were DONE back in August.
As a COURTESY, I offered to bring you up on the new calibration system.

You would think the guru of DIY tuning thread nonsense would at least not bite the hand that feeds him.

Troll.

I can't speak for everone that has had their 8 tuned by Jeff, but I know that he has always been upfront and responded to my questions, while at the same time providing me with free tunes!

I don't know of anyone else I could go to for the same service at the same price!

maybe i should reveal to the forums what 15 months of work and a tune thats "spot on" looks like for an NA car

****, my car runs leaner on the OEM map with the fuel maps cleared. But what do I know, its not like i had to tune the f'in thing myself or anything.

Reveal away! I'm sure it will be quite riveting.
Remember, I keep ALL of this stuff, too. Including correspondence.
