I wanted to say thanks to everyone for your continued support of BHR! I know many of you have been waiting eagerly for this midpipe to come to market. I have to say that it turned out even better than I imagined when we first drafted the idea.

We might take a while but the payoff is well worth the wait!

Pretty sweet man.

Thx, Kane. Probably the coolest feature is that the silencer has no packing in it but is as quiet as any midpipe out there. When we used this midpipe with Easy's MazdaSpeed cat-back it was very quiet. When we used it with a factory cat-back it added a llittle bit of a "rumble" but it was only 1 or 2 dB over stock.

Any chance of us getting a sounds clip of the midpipe with the MS exhaust?

Jedi54 06-13-2009 01:17 PM

that's sexy lookin'!
would be hard not to get the Polished one...even if I'll hardly ever see it.

czar 06-13-2009 01:30 PM

ooo shiny, if only people stop vandalizing my car >_<, insurance stole my fun money :banghead:,

random question how much does it weigh ?

Jedi54 06-13-2009 01:59 PM

We are keeping that a secret for now. :eyetwitch

The last I remember reading was that this is a 2.5" pipe, is that still the case?

onefatsurfer 06-13-2009 05:48 PM

When is that coming? Full 3 inch exhaust... might actually increase hp a teeny bit!

laythor 06-13-2009 07:33 PM

catless midpipes already increase HP without being 3"

shazy 06-13-2009 09:26 PM

yeah it increases 10whp for a catless midpipe.

Flashwing 06-14-2009 02:29 AM

Without getting too far off topic, the one thing that hasn't been done is proving that a 3 inch exhaust will have any added benefit at least with an NA platform. Turbo or supercharger? Yeah that would probably help.

The big challange is a 3 inch exhaust system would require headers, midpipe and catback parts which all fit together. It could be done but at a large expense to the owner no doubt.

Easy and I give each other a hard time quite often but the results speak for themselves.;)

Speaking of installs Ray, the hell is your rate if someone wanted you to help them rebuild their engine and all that? ;) Besides food and beer. :D

Zelse 06-14-2009 04:01 PM

sure if I need it ;) Well was just more curious for future reference is all. Not a big deal.

Hmm..Good point. You still won't street port though?

Zelse 06-14-2009 04:31 PM

Right, which I've been reading and all. I just didn't know street porting wasn't worth it is all. But what do you think of what they're doing in Japan? Taking a Renny, and then swapping out the rotor housings with a RX7 13B rotor housings, then peripheral porting it. Seems to be the big thing, with people seeing 315 to the wheels... NA.
