How are they simply pressed in? Im not sure what a hammer can do if the nut is still welded on to the bolt...

^ you hammer it from the front to the back. once you break the nut off you can punch it through fairly easily.

Just use your man powers and break all three of the bolts. Put a short socket and long breaker bar on them and snap them off. Or use a combo wrench (box end only) and brute strength.
In other words just turn them till they break.

I meant welded as in it hasnt been moved since late 2003 and WILL NOT budge lol

this is the same guy who forgot the marshmallows and graham crackers.
