You don't need to cut them out. They are simply pressed in. All you need is a good metal punch and small 4 lb hammer. Hit them they come right out.

:suspect:

How are they simply pressed in? Im not sure what a hammer can do if the nut is still welded on to the bolt...

dondo 08-28-2009 12:21 PM

^ you hammer it from the front to the back. once you break the nut off you can punch it through fairly easily.

Easy_E1 08-28-2009 12:24 PM

Just use your man powers and break all three of the bolts. Put a short socket and long breaker bar on them and snap them off. Or use a combo wrench (box end only) and brute strength.
In other words just turn them till they break.

Should have been able to get it installed in ten minutes. :wiggle:

Jedi54 08-28-2009 01:22 PM

this is the same guy who forgot the marshmallows and graham crackers.
That makes this at least a 3 hour install...

avanti_racing08 08-28-2009 01:28 PM

Air tools work really well for snaping bolts too lol

BHR should use those shots for promotional pics .
